Our Year 2000 test software tests your systems
BIOS clock and informs you whether or not your system will correctly roll
over to the Year 2000. The software first checks your system clock for
the current date and time. Then it rolls your systems clock date to January
1st 2000, you will see the results just below the clock display. If your
system correctly rolls over to the Year 2000 you will see a "Year 2000
roll over test passed" message on your screen, if your system does not
roll over correctly you will see a "failed" message.
The software then tests your system's clock for the Year 2000 leap
year. Once again if your system rolls over to Feb. 29 2000 and March 1st
2000 respectively you will see the "passed" message, and if it does not
correctly roll over you will see the "failed" message.
If your system fails any of these tests then your system is not Year
2000 compliant and you must take steps to become compliant to ensure your
system will not be disrupted by the Year 2000.
The software available for download on this site tests only your hardware
compliance. You must also ensure that all of your software applications
are Year 2000 compliant to be fully protected. Check out our "Products"
area for information on how Micro Century 2000 can test your entire system,
hardware AND software, for full Year 2000 compliance. We offer various
compliance packages to suit all needs.
